Clue #1 of 13

This place sits on the border of three different states and has cold, snowy winters along with mild, comfortable summers due to its average elevation of about 8,000 feet. Established in 1872, it became the first national park in the world. If you’re looking to see bison, elk, or even trout, this is a wild spot where the land is as untamed as the animals that roam it. On a physical map, you would notice mountains, rivers, and geothermal features like geysers. It’s part of a mountainous region in the western United States, known for its abundant wildlife, and is located in the Northern Hemisphere, where these seasonal changes can be experienced.
